Welcome to the Italian Essentials module! This module is designed to introduce you to the fundamental aspects of the Italian language, including essential vocabulary, common phrases, and basic grammar rules. By the end of this module, you will be able to engage in simple conversations and understand basic Italian texts.

Italian is a Romance language of the Indo-European language family. Italian is the official language of Italy, Switzerland (along with German, French and Romansh), San Marino, and Vatican City. It is also an official language in some parts of Croatia and Slovenia.
